DOC Maremma Toscana "Poggio alla Guardia Vigne Alte" 2020 - ROCCA DI FRASSINELLO 2014 Vintage : 1993Poggio alla Guardia di Rocca di Frassinello is made from 40% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Syrah grapes grown in the Gavorrano area, in the province of Grosseto. The vineyards here are planted on medium textured, skeletal soils at an altitude of about 100 metres above sea level. The red winemaking process took place entirely in stainless steel. The wine was aged for 12 months in cement and for a further 4 months in the bottle.
